Article 43

Substitution of members of the State Government

   (1) In the event that the State Governor is unable to discharge the rights and obligations of his office, these are assumed by the Deputy State Governor, unless otherwise provided in the constitution.
   (2) Should the Deputy State Governor also be unable to discharge the rights and obligations of his office, his tasks, including any arising from the replacement of the State Governor, if applicable, are assumed by a member of the State Government who has been designated for this purpose by the State Government. The same applies in the case of substitution of the State Councillors.
