Article 41
State Government
(1) The State administration is conducted by the State Government.
(2) The State Government consists of the State Governor, the Landesstatthalter (Deputy State Governor) and five other members (State Councillors). The State Parliament may decide to alter the number of State Councillors. Such a decision requires a majority of two-thirds of the votes cast.
(3) The State Government is elected by the State Parliament. The elections of the State Governor and the Deputy State Governor take place in two separate votes. The election of the State Councillors takes place in a third vote.
(4) The members of the State Government must be eligible for election to the State Parliament but need not be members of the State Parliament.
