Task and services

Tasks:

• Financial and moral support of extracurricular organisations
• Implementation of own events and projects such as the regional public speaking competition, state-wide co-determination projects etc.
• Implementation of seminars and courses for extracurricular training and further training of young people
• Management of the Vorarlberg State Youth Council
• Acquisition of personnel to oversee projects
• Analysis of the situation of youths in Vorarlberg on the basis of studies and surveys

Services:

• We are responsible for the administration of youth policy in the State and for provision of the necessary infrastructure.
• We see ourselves as a service and coordination centre and support the youth facilities and the communities in their youth policy endeavours.
• We promote youth organisations, youth meetings and youth centres and support the establishment of youth clubs.
• We organise and support internal youth contacts.
