The State of Vorarlberg on the Internet

With the new funding objective – the so-called Objective 2 (2000 – 2006) – the EU is supporting the economic development of rural and industrial areas with finance from the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRD). The Objective 2 Program Vorarlberg covers both the new Objective 2 program as well as the Objective 2 phasing out program Vorarlberg. The new Objective 2 program will apply to large sections of Vorarlberg's rural areas. (Brandnertal, most of the Bregenzer Forest region, Großes Walsertal, parts of Klostertal, Laternsertal, parts of Leiblachtal, most of Montafon). The Objective 2 phasing out program supports the district of Dornbirn. Funding is provided for economic projects and corporate investment as well as improvements to the regional infrastructure and networks.
